I was born in Dekalb County and was raised in Rockdale County, Georgia. I graduated from Heritage High School and obtained a BS degree in Music Industry Management from Georgia State University in 1999. While working full time as a Real Estate Title Examiner, I obtained my Juris Doctorate degree from John Marshall Law School. In 2000, I passed the State of Georgia tests for Property and Casualty Insurance as well as Life and Health Insurance.

I consider my practice of law as a general civil practice with a concentration in Real Estate litigation and Contract litigation. My Title Examining background provides me with a solid foundation concerning contract and real estate legal matters. And he also assists the firm's concentration in domestic law cases, as well as cases involving wrongful denial of insurance benefits.

I believe, as an attorney, that it is my duty to provide the possibility for disputes to be resolved without a waste of time, money or resources. While I enjoy the give and take of the Court Room and feel strongly that litigation has its place, most cases can be settled without the added expense of a bench or jury trial. I feel mediation and negotiation should be the cornerstone of a successful law practice, with litigation being the last resort.
